AUSPEX

The registered pilot's own file · Carried, not consulted at a desk

It displays information about a capsuleer on a small glass rectangle. Whether consulting that rectangle while actively flying a ship is advisable is outside its mandate. AUSPEX has noted the question. AUSPEX has filed it.

What it does

Your file, legibly. The portrait fills the screen and fades into charcoal, and the corporation, alliance, security status and current location are presented without editorialisation. AUSPEX has opinions about your security status. They are expressed only through the colour of the number.

The queue, moving. Training is listed in order with the active skill's progress advancing in real time, because time is advancing in real time, and these facts are connected. Completion timestamps are given for each skill and have been verified as correct. What you do with that is your concern.

The ledger. Balance at a glance; a tap opens the journal and market transactions in full. AUSPEX has processed all of it without judgement. AUSPEX is not your accountant. AUSPEX has nonetheless noticed some things.

Mail, clones, contracts. Unread counts and recent subjects. Active implants in full and jump clones counted. Personal and corporate contracts across three tabs, the corporate tab using the real corporation endpoint rather than a filter on what you happen to see — and a tap opens the matching window in the live client, if it is running.

Killmails, both directions. Recent kills and losses from the public record, split between your own history and the corporation's, each opening a full breakdown: the victim's hull rendered, damage taken, final blow, and the attacker list sorted by damage. A tap opens an attacker's information window in the client.

AUSPEX is in development and is not yet issued. The Android edition is furthest along; an iOS edition for iPhone and iPad is being built from the same shared core. When there is something to hand over, it will be handed over here.
